The winds of change blew

It's been a while since I last updated my blog, and a lot had happened in these days. First of all the winds of change finally blew up north. This has been a trip. Relocate in 10 days, find a home, school and everything to have our lives back to normal was not an easy task but finally we did it. We found the house, school for Ana Paula, therapy for Santi, etc. The house is pretty, it is an a very nice area among lakes that I really like so far. I still have a few boxes to open and I still need to put many things in their place, as soon as I am finished with the house I will start to work again on my photography. I miss it so much. For now I have a few shots of the lake that is around the corner, the view from my room (I get to see the lake and we do not have neighbors on the back so it is nice and very very quiet) and I tree I see every morning while I drive to the school, It reminds me so much to my mom, if she could see it I know she would love it, so every time I see it I instantly think about her and I like that. I have a few photos of the house too but I want to take them again once everything is in place and it looks nice.

14 again!

Well maybe it makes sense. This is a time of flashbacks... first me doing second grade again and now Roller Skating... I;ve always loved to skate, when I was a little girl and a teen (uuuuuu it's been so long) I was a really good skater. I used to go to Skatorama or Skate Inn in Mexico and I just loved those afternoons. When Oscar and I were dating we bought ore line skates and used to go skating with July and Gibran in Cocoyoc. The I got better skates but when I got pregnant with Santi I stopped skating. A few month ago I found my skates and used them again. sice then I've been trying to use them more often. One day I told Russ that I loved to skate so he told me he had to take me to Hot Wheels to skate and finally on Sunday there we went! It was one of the best sunday afternoons ever. First I used my skates but then I swiched to the 4 wheels ones and the flash back began. I had so much fun. Ana Paula did good too considering it was her first time using 4 wheels skates and Santi was so funny. First he spent all the time in the floor but then he figured it out and and he wanted to make turns, cross his leg, etc. too funny. Madison had a crush on a teen boy and Ana Paula seconded her. Denise couldn't believe her eyes, after all she is only 7 but she knows what she wants and she goes for it! She is an amazing little girl. As I said I had a blast, we rolled and rolled and rolled. Russ surprised me I didn't know he could skate so good! I had a great time. Thanks to the Irvines for this great afternoon.

And after almost 30 years... I am in Second Grade

When I posted my kids back to school photos I should have posted a picture of myself too! And this is because I am doing 2nd. grade again. It is amazing the amount of homework poor Dona Liber has to do everyday. I sepnd almost 2 hours lately doing homework with her. Math, Science, Spelling, Reading..... everyday. Of course every afternoon is decorated with a huge amount of drama, what can you expect of Dona Liber? It's been only 3 weeks of school and I am tired of redoing 2nd. grade again. I truly don't remember that me (nor my brother or sister) were such a big homework deal for my mom! Anyways what can I do? just sit there and do my homework. But for sure I am going to ask the school for my second grade diploma at the end of the year!
