I received a call...

From Fred!! Nov. 4th. was one the best days of my life! I received a call from Fred from CK, one of my LOS was selected for an idea book!!! I still can't believe it! I've been submiting for more that a year with no luck, I was about to get a vaccine from the publishing bug when this happened! This was a dream I had since last year and finally today it came true!
I hope this is the start of my publishing history! Thanks to all that supported me through all this months especially Syb, Jen, and the chunky but funky bunch: Denise, Maria, Lisely, Vivian and Tia Z!

I am so proud!

I am so proud of my little girl! Ana Paula got the pursuit of excellence award at school, her picture was placed in the honor roll and she was on TV for this. Just wanted to share!

Finally Back!

Today is November the 17 th. and finally yeaterday our life return to normal mode after hurricane Wilma hit us last October, internet, cable and phone are finally back.
This was really a scary experience, we lost power really early during the storm and we got it back 2 weeks after. For the first time in my life we knew what is to be victims of a natural desaster, living without power, food or gas, making huge lines to get some ice, trying to repair the house, which I have to say we are very lucky, we just had minor damage, no severe roof damage or anything like that. I know Ican't complaint, there is a lot of people that suffer much more that us but for me this was the closest experience to being a victim.
Anyways life is back and good things happened during this time too, Halloween, Ana Pau winning the honor roll at school and K's visit. I will post about all these.

Halloween!

Hurricane Wilma thought that she can ruin our Halloween ha but she didn't count on Denise! Well actually our grown ups party was cancelled but Denise invited us to the best trick or treat night at her house. We had a blast!!!, we had dinner and after that daddys took all the kids out. They got tons of candy and had a lot of fun. Ana Paula was a green withc, OMG she looked so grown up with that make-up! and Santiago was Paneman (Spiderman) he even wore his spiderman slippers, he was so proud with all those muscles!
