Happy Birthday Pau!!!

Eight years ago, in a day like this I became a mommy for the first time. On december 16th. 1998 I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. Today my little girl turned 8 years old and she is becoming a beautiful young lady. I just can't believe how fast time goes by and how much she has grown.

She got the present she wanted... a beautiful wooden box filled with painting supplies. Then we had her birhtday party @ the Equestrian Club, she had a great time riding Cocoa and she got to pet and feed her favorite horse JD, here are a few photos of the birhtday girl. The Irvines drove all the way from Miami to be with her, she really felt very special.

Pau you know I love and that I am very proud of you and no matter how many years you have you will always be my little girl.

The boss

Last sunday I made a shoot with the family of Oscar's boss and I had a blast. The kids are so funny, they made me laugh a lot. We did the shoot in a very nice area where they are building their house, the place is amazing, it has great huge sculptures all over the place and beautiful gardens with waterfalls. The place is just amazing and they are too.I have to confess I was nervous, I've only met them once when we were moving here but everything went OK. I just finished to proof them so I am waiting for them to call me with their comments... I hope they like them. Here are some of my favorites

Cool!

Last night I DISCOVERED another cool thing of living here.

We went to a birthday party and when we got home Ana Paula, her friend Taylor, Santi and me got busy in our traditional cookie making for the Holidays, we were doing the cookies when Oscar came down to let us know that the Discovery was about to be launched! we were watching it on tv and just when it launched Oscar went out to the backyar to try t find it.... and there it was, first the sky turned a very intense orange color and then we could see it! Of course I didn't have the camera with me and when I thought of getting it I decided it would be too late by the time I can get it so I stayed outside. We could see it longer than I thought so I run inside the house to get my camera and I could get a little bit of it. Here it is the Discovery from our backyard. It was very exciting to see it and for Oscar a dream come true.

These two beauties are McKenna and Nika, McKenna is in Ana Paula's class and they moved from California a couple weeks before us. Their mom is one of the nicest persons I've met here, she is funny, kind and is always there to help. We've been helping together @ school and I always have a great time with her, even when she burns the classroom... We made a Christmas session on Friday for their Christmas cards and of course I had to shoot some extras, here are a couple of my favorites. Aren't they pretty? I love Nika's hair and she is such a natural model, McKenna needs to realize how pretty she is and when she forgets about the camera she shows great things.
